Chad Millward, 60, was released earlier this week, officials at Reach Air Medical Services said in an update to social media.

Oliver Holland was pinned under the helicopter when it crashed Oct. 11 in a beach parking lot, injuring five people. He had been in a medically induced coma until he woke up over the weekend on his 12th birthday after surgeries for a collapsed lung and bleeding in his brain.

That same model helicopter crashed Wednesday evening near Ekalaka, killing four family members of Illinois gubernatorial candidate Darren Bailey. Bailey’s campaign said his son Zachary, daughter-in-law Kelsey, and two grandchildren — Vada Rose, 12, and Samuel, 7 — died in the crash.
